Affordable Skincare Haul & First Impressions.

After finishing up a few of my current skincare products I decided it was time to try something new. Luckily at the time I was heading into town, superdrug had a ton of skincare products on offer so I picked up quite a few products and I ordered a couple of items off beauty bay. Enough rambling and on with the haul…

After using the garnier micellar water for a long time now and recently hearing some not so good things about it, i decided to switch it up and try some other Micellar water products. After looking around I found that the Simple Micellar Cleansing Wipes seemed to be popular, so I picked up a pack. Also in the same line is the Simple Micellar Cleansing Water which is perfect for little things, for example when you annoyingly get mascara on your eyelid and don’t want to use a whole makeup wipe. I have been using the wipes for the past week or two and I really like them.

If you have read any of my skincare posts then you have probably seen me mention the Loreal Skin Perfection Serum. Well unfortunately they seemed to have discontinued that product so instead I picked up the new L’Oreal Hydra Genius Aloe Water. I really like the light weight formula of this product and is great for summer.

My favourite purchase from this whole haul/ mini first impression post is actually the cheapest and that is a Konjac Facial Sponge. I picked this up from superdrug for only £1.99 which is quite abit cheaper than ones I’ve seen online. I have been using this little sponge with my cleanser at night and it has made the biggest difference to my skin already. After just one use I notice my skin was softer and clearer. I now can’t be without it and highly recommend you try cleaning you face with a konjac sponge.

From Beauty Bay I bought the Mario Badescu Facial Spray with cucumber, aloe vera and green tea. I bought this because its claims to be calming and hydrating which sounds like a perfect skincare product. I’ve yet to put this product to test but I will update you at a later date. The last product I bought was the Dove DermaSpa Summer Revived Tanning Lotion. If you live in England then you know we haven’t had much sun in a while so I got this to add a little golden hue to my skin and will also be great for autumn.

I hope you enjoyed this post and sorry for my recent absence. Hopefully it won’t be so long until you see me next.
