Hello, I hope you are well, I’m sorry that it has been such a long time since my last post. If you haven’t noticed already, my blog has had a bit of a makeover. Well a lot more than just a makeover, i have more hosting sites and a whole lot more behind the scenes stuff that has meant I’ve not been able to upload. Now that it is almost finished I am back uploading hopefully 2/3 times a week. Anyway enough rambling and on to the makeup.
I have been loving a more natural, fresh look when it comes to my skin, so I try to keep things to a minimum, which means most days no foundation. However I do suffer with some redness on my cheeks and I like to have some coverage on them so I use the Maybelline Fit Me Concealer in the shade 15 fair. I apply a little of this to my cheeks and blend it out with my Real Techniques Cheek Brush and i often add a little to my chin and nose with whatever is left on the brush.
For my dark circles under my eyes, i use the collection lasting perfection concealer. I love this concealer because it is high coverage but not cakey and lasts all day. I either use the same brush as my face or I use the Real Techniques setting brush. If you have been reading my blog for a while then you’ll probably know what I am going to use for setting my concealer, yes its the Maybelline Fit me powder.
For bronzing up the face, I am using my trusty Soap and Glory Solar Bronzer. I Love this bronzer and I think it is perfect for an everyday makeup look. When it comes to highlighter I like to use a little extra and use two. Firstly is the Benefit Watts Up Cream Highlight. This is a gorgeous Champagne colour that blends so nicely into the skin that can look both natural or can be built up into a more full on glow. For my second highlight I use the MAC Mineralised Skin Finish in Lightscapade to set the cream highlighter but also to add a little extra glow. Some days I will just use one of these but I love the combination of the two. After I have added all these products to my face I like to do a quick spritz on MAC Fix + to help everything melt together and last all day. That is my face done, now onto the eyes.
Starting with Brows, I like a soft natural look so the two products I have been switching between are the shade Naked from the Urban Decay Naked Palette and the NYX Micro Brow Pencil. Then for eyeshadow I have been loving my Urban Decay Naked Palette. Firstly I blend the shade Naked through my crease, then on my lid I mix the shimmery bronzy gold colours, Half Baked and Smog, In the outer corner and lower lash-line I add a little Buck for a little extra depth. For Mascara I have been obsessed with my newest addition Benefit Roller Lash Mascara. This mascara makes my lashes look the best they ever have, without much effort, so what more could I ask for?! Also I find this mascara is quick and easy to remove which is another plus.
Lastly for lips I have been keeping them fairly natural and simple. My go to product has been the NYX Butter Gloss in the shade Tiramisu. This lip gloss has been so nice on my dry winter lips and looks so pretty for spring as well.
I hope you liked this post and I’d love to know what your one must-have product is, mine definitely has to be mascara- so please comment down below. Also if there is any blog posts you’d like to see from me then let me know.
