Tarte Tartelette In Bloom Palette Review&Swatches

What is it?
This 12 piece eyeshadow palette all contained within pretty gold, pink and purple packaging. All are “Infused with tarte’s signature Amazonian clay formula”

Is it expensive?
At £33/$45 its not exactly cheap. Its cheaper than the urban decay naked palettes but alot more pricey that drugstore. At £2.75 a shadow it works out cheaper than makeup geek or Mac individual shadows.
Is it for you?
If you love warm and purple toned shadows then i think you would really like this palette, however if your a big shimmer lover then this palette might not be for you as its mostly matte with only 3 shimmery shades in the palette. I do think it makes a nice change though because most palettes have more shimmers.
Is it worth the money?
Yes and no. Yes because your getting 12 gorgeous shadows most of which live up to expectations and they are longlasting (at least 12+ hours on myself) and most are pigmented and dont create much fall out. All but the three darkest shades have very very creamy buttery formula which is a dream to use, the 3 darkest shades are a little less creamy though, but still very wearable and useable. The packaging feels like good quality and it contains a good sized mirror. However the lightest white shade (charmer) in the palette isnt the most pigmented, so if your of a darker skintone than me it may show up a lot more but i found on my pale skin it did show up very much.
Where can i get my hands on it?
Tarte is quite difficult to get in the uk but can be bought online from the tarte website (you will have to pay extra customs fees though) and you can get it from qvc which doesn’t have the addition fees, but the prices are a little higher. In the US you can get tarte from sephora, the tarte website and ulta.
Final thought
Overall I really like this palette, the shades are very pretty and wearable, for both day and night looks. The lasting power of these shadows are also great. Lastly I think this palette makes a nice change to have so many matte shades.
Thankyou to my lovely friend Emily who gave me this little beauty as a present:)
