There are sooooo many nude lipsticks to choose from on the market these days, with so many different finishes and undertones, which makes trying to find the perfect one for you very hard. I have picked out my top 5 and hopefully this might help you find your perfect shade:) also a lot of my faves are from the drugstore which is great if you are on a budget or just starting to build you makeup collection and dont want to experiment with pricey products.
1- Mac, Creme Cup- £15: this is the only pricey one out of the selection and is a paler shade than the others but i think would suit a lot of skin tones. This is a cremesheen formula.
2- Essence, 7 – Natural Beauty- £2.30 : This is the cheapest in the selection but its not a compromise on quality. This long-lasting lipstick is moisturising and pigmented and a great all round lipstick. definitely a great find.
3- L’oreal- Julianne’s Nude – £7.99- Probably my favourite nude lipstick I own. This formula is so soft, silky and moisturizing, but also pigmented and long-lasting. The colour is the perfect nudey pink, It’s not too peach or too cool toned just the right amount and is a very pretty feminine colour. I also think it would suit a lot of skin tones.
4- Rimmel 101- £5.49- The most matte of the 5. This soft satin-matte formula glides nicely on the lips and looks subtle, soft and feminine. It also gives the look of being put together but not over the top. Also lasts a really long time on the lips
5- Soap & Glory – The Missing Pink – £9- by far the most luxurious feeling on the lips. this “your lips but better” colour is perfect for everyday wear and would suit a lot of skin tones. Like the others it is also long lasting on the lips even though it is moisturising.
I hope this gives you some ideas if you are looking for a new nude lipstick or another to add to your ever growing collection- yes you who’s weakness is lipstick – I know you can never have too many haha
See you next time
