Christmas Makeup, Gold Eyes & Red Lips

Not sure how to jazz up your makeup to be more festive? But don’t want to go over board and be glitter central (although can you ever really have too much glitter? I think not) Well I have picked out some products to make festive makeup easy so you can concentrate on all the Christmas fun .
Gold eyes
Gold is just the most perfect Christmas eyeshadow colour and the most wearable, it suits all eye colours and goes with every outfit (we all match our outfits and makeup right?) Also gold can be subtle for day wear or can be overly glittery and perfect for all those Christmas parties you’ve got booked in the run up to Christmas.
Urban decay eyeshadow -half baked
Gorgeous shimmery gold powder eyeshadow. Can be found in the naked 1&2 palettes and purchased individually.
Maybelline color tattoo -enteral gold
Pretty cream eyeshadow that is sure to last all day. It is very affordable and widely available.
Glowing skin
With all the glitter and tinkly lights at Christmas, it’s nice to include that in your makeup look, but slightly toned down a bit haha. The best way to achieve a glowing look is by adding highlighter to the skin.
MAC mineralised skin finish -lightscadape
Stunning light golden powder highlighter that will look beautiful on even the lightest of skin tones. Check out my full review here.
Benefit watts up
This cream product gives a gorgeous natural glow, and will last all day and night on the skin.
Makeup revolution ultra sculpt&contour kit -ultra fair c01
Cute little trio that is great value for money, but the absolute best part is the highlighter, very pretty and gives a nice sheen to the tops of the cheeks
Red lips
Classic. Christmas. If there’s only one thing you want to change about your makeup to make it look more christmassy, add a red lip to your look and you’ll be ready for Santa.
Rimmel Kate moss lipsticks – 110 &107 (dark shade) £5.49
These lipsticks have great staying powder and although they are matte they are not at all drying on the lips. I may be wrong but I’m pretty sure that the red tubes are the matte ones and they have the same in black tubes with are a more satin/shiny finish. They do have mostly the same colours in the two different finishes, so there’s something to everyone.
Thankyou for reading, hope you found this useful and leave a comment down below with your favourite Christmas makeup product
See you soon with some more festive fun
