9: DIY SPA in a JAR
Have you ever seen these on Pinterest? I thought ‘what a good idea, but where do I start?’ Well look no further. Firstly you’ll need a jar, pot or basket of some sort (good thing about the glass jar is that it’s a great storage item once the products have been used) secondly you need to put some products in there, I suggested that you’d be better putting miniatures, travel size or sample size products rather than full size because it’s more cost effective and if the person you are making this for does not like one thing then there isn’t a full size product being wasted. Things you could put in include, face masks (the sachet ones are great) cleanser &/or makeup remover, facial scrubs (toner if you want – I don’t think it’s an essential though) moisturiser (face and hands if you like) lip balm and if you really want an eye cream – but these can be pricey. Lastly I would recommend you add in some cotton wool and a flannel or face cloth as these are useful when washing your face. You don’t have to put all these things in there, you can just choose what you think the person your making it for would like. Once you’ve got all your products put them inside the jar and wrap some ribbon around the top and you have a great gift.
10: Nivea skin pampering £15
If you didn’t want to DIY a spa kit then this is a great alternative, containing lots of pampering goodies.
Available at Boots
11: Urban Decay Naked palettes £37 each
I was going to select only 10 gifts but no beauty obsessed gift guide would be complete without mentioning these palettes. With 4 to choose from there is a good selection and any make up lover would be delighted to receive one.
Available at Feel Unique and most department stores
*in the superdrug catalogue it states that sale prices will last until December 24th.
Thank you for reading and I hope you have found something useful that you might want to give as a gift or put on your own list haha. Look forward to seeing you next time which will be a teenage gift guide.
