Hello, today I’m back (after a very long time haha) with my 5 favourite lip products for Autumn
Along with many others I love a berry lip during autumn so majority of my faves are berry toned.
First up is Rimmel 107. It’s a gorgeous deep red. A very red red, not to purple or orange tone:) it has a matte/satin finish, it’s not super matte, but it’s definitely not glossy.
It’s quite moisturising for a matte product and it’s got great staying power. For something that only costs £5.49 It’s definitely a great choice:)))))
Secondly is another Rimmel product but this time it’s a lip liner in the shade 063 black tulip. Although it’s called black tulip it’s definitely not a black lip liner. It’s a deep wine red. It pairs perfectly with the 107 lipstick. It is a wooden pencil which I know is not everyone’s favourite but it’s surprisingly soft and cream and at only £2.99 it’s a great budget item, that your not having to compromise on quality for:)
Next up is a liquid lipstick from makeup revolution. This is a great affordable brand and this product only costs £3 which I think is a great price considering the quality of this product. It is part of there salvation velvet lacquer collection. It’s in the shade velvet vamp and it’s a real dark berry purple, not for the faint hearted as it’s pretty bold, but the staying power is really good:) If you have not used a liquid lipstick before the great benefits are that they are pigmented and long lasting and usually glide on easier than a regular lipstick. It is also very matte which means it last even longer.
Second to last is another lipstick from Rimmel, they do make really good lip products, but this one is part of the moisture renew collection. As the name would suggested it is very moisturising, it actually feels like wearing a lip balm, but it does mean the staying power isn’t as good at the matte 107. It does come out a little darker on the lips than it does in the picture but it is a medium-deep purple with berry red undertones.
Last but definitely not lest is the newest addition to my lipstick collection and it’s Mac’s Mehr. In the picture it’s looks a lot more berry like than it does on the lips. On the lips it’s a purple toned pinky darker than your lips nude(haha could I have made that description any longer). It’s a nice nude for Autumn because it’s a bit darker than your average nude, but it’s great for every day or for those who aren’t daring enough for a deep berry lip. It is also a matte formula(my favourite) which means it lasts a long time on the lips, although being a matte it is still creamy and glides onto the lips.
I also thought I’d put in a lip balm that I’ve been loving recently because it’s very important to keep your lips moisturised as the months get colder. I have been loving the burt’s bees nourishing mango lip balm lately. It’s great because it is 100% natural and is pretty cheap and does the job well:) I find one application of this can leave my lips feeling moisturised for hours and even after eating and drinking:)
See you again soon hopefully and I promise I won’t leave it soooooo long until my next post haha
